These compounds offer the excellent chemical resistance, toughness and low coefficient of friction of polyacetal while providing ESD protection.  The new compounds are colorable and available
with or without fiberglass reinforcement

PolyOne Corp., Avon Lake, Ohio, has purchased the equipment, material recipes, and customer list of Novatec Plastics Corp., Eatontown, N.J., the compounding subsidiary of bottle molder PVC Container Corp., also of Eatontown. Production of Novatecís rigid vinyl compounds for profile extrusion and injection and blow molding will be transferred to other PolyOne facilities, after which the Novatec plant will close.
